Payments & Earnings

How money moves from a funded contract into your wallet, what the 10% fee covers, and how to withdraw. This matches the live Earnings & payouts page.

How you get paid

  1. A client sends a formal offer. You accept it on Contracts.
  2. The client funds the milestone (card via Stripe and/or USDC on Polygon, depending on the offer). That money is held in escrow — it is not in your withdrawable balance yet.
  3. You deliver the work and submit the milestone.
  4. The client approves, or a review window can auto-progress release if they do not dispute in time (see notifications and escrow status; typically about seven days).
  5. We deduct a 10% platform fee from the gross milestone and credit the remaining 90% to your wallet on Earnings & payouts.
  6. You withdraw once a payout method is set up and the method minimum is reached.
Escrow vs available
In escrow = client has funded, waiting for approval. Available = already released to you. Full walkthrough: How escrow works.

The fee is taken when work is released, not again when you withdraw. Withdrawal still shows gateway or network fees for the method you pick.

Setting up payouts

  1. Open Earnings & payouts in the talent sidebar.
  2. Complete payout setup (Stripe identity when prompted).
  3. Add a bank, PayPal, Payoneer, or crypto method. For Cardano (ADA) offers, save an addr1… receive address on the same page.
  4. Withdraw when available balance meets that method’s minimum. The header unlocks at the lowest minimum among methods you already enrolled.
