How you get paid on WeRemoteIT — payout methods, timelines, fee structure, and how to set up your withdrawal preferences.

How Talent Gets Paid

Payments flow from client → platform escrow → your payout account. Each milestone or timesheet period is approved by the client before funds are released to you.

  1. Client funds a milestone or timesheet into platform escrow
  2. You deliver the work and submit for approval
  3. Client approves (or auto-approval triggers after 72 hours with no dispute)
  4. Funds are released from escrow to your payout account minus the platform fee

💡 Tiered Model
The more you earn on the platform, the lower your fee. Long-term talent relationships benefit significantly from the 5% top tier.

Setting Up Payouts

  1. Go to Settings → Billing & Payouts in your Talent dashboard
  2. Add your banking details (IBAN for SEPA, account/routing for SWIFT) or wallet address for USDC
  3. Complete identity verification — required for payouts over $1,000 per month
  4. Once approved, payouts are triggered automatically on milestone approval

Payment Timeline

Taxes & Compliance

WeRemoteIT does not withhold taxes on behalf of talent. You are responsible for declaring income in your jurisdiction. At the start of each year, you can download a full Earnings Report from the Billing section for tax purposes.

EU-based talent providing B2B services to EU companies may need to apply VAT. Consult a local tax advisor. WeRemoteIT can provide invoice documentation on request.
