How WeRemoteIT alerts you to new job matches, messages from clients, application updates, and platform news — and how to control what you receive.
How Job Match Notifications Work
WeRemoteIT's Synapse AI runs continuously against new and updated job postings. When a new job is posted that matches your verified profile with a score of 80% or higher, you are automatically notified.
⚡ Match Threshold
You only receive a job match alert if the Synapse AI scores you at 80% or above for the role. This keeps your inbox clean from low-quality matches.
Types of Notifications

Managing Your Notification Preferences
Go to Settings → Notifications to control exactly what you receive. Available toggles:
- Job Match Alerts — New roles that match your profile
- Message Notifications — Client messages and replies
- Application Updates — Pipeline changes
- Platform Announcements — Product updates and new features
- Marketing Emails — Opt-in promotional content
In-App Notification Centre
Click the bell icon (🔔) in the top navigation to open your Notification Centre. Here you can:
- See all unread notifications with timestamps
- Mark individual notifications or all as read
- Click any notification to navigate directly to the relevant page
💡 Tip — Increase Your Match Rate
To get more (and better) job match notifications, increase your profile score to 90+ and complete your vetting. Higher scores unlock more job visibility.
