Messaging Talent
All client-to-talent communication happens inside WeRemoteIT's secure messaging system — completely in-platform, context-aware, and tied to your job applications.
How Messaging Works
Each conversation is tied to a specific job application. This means all messages are scoped by role — keeping your hiring conversations organized and auditable.
Starting a Conversation
Go to Messages or Pipeline
Navigate to Messages from the top navigation. Or, click on a candidate in your pipeline and select Message.
Select the application context
If you have multiple open roles, select which job this conversation is about. You can have separate threads per role per candidate.
Write and send
Type your message and press Send. The talent is notified in real-time via the platform and email notification.
Message Notifications
- Talent receives an in-app notification (bell icon) and email when they use the portal
- You see an unread count badge on the Messages icon
- Real-time delivery — no refresh needed
Telegram bot (same threads)
Many clients review applicants in @WeRemoteITbot. Messages you send from the bot are stored in the same application threads as the portal. Delivery to talent follows their application channel:
- Website applicants — portal Messages only (not Telegram DM).
- Telegram applicants — Telegram DM when linked, plus portal inbox.
- Discord applicants — Discord DM when linked, plus portal inbox.
On a job’s applicant list, use 💬 Message this applicant only for one person or 📣 Broadcast for everyone on that role. See the Telegram Bot guide for pipeline buttons, templates, and /cancel.
Platform Rules
- No sharing of personal contact info (email, phone) in messages — this bypasses the escrow and SLA protections
- All messages are archived and accessible by WeRemoteIT support in case of disputes
- Abusive or inappropriate messages will result in account suspension
