Telegram Bot for Talent
Use @WeRemoteITbot to onboard, browse roles, see AI match scores, Quick Apply, and track applications — linked to the same profile as weremoteit.com.

Getting started
- Tap Register · I want to work (or open with
?start=role_talent). - Send your résumé in chat (PDF best; photo of CV works). Parsing starts automatically.
- Review the summary → Save to talent profile → finish any missing skills or experience steps in chat.
- Optional: if you already have a portal account, use Sign in (Auto-login) then send
/sync_profile.
After onboarding you get Quick tips (talent) with tap-to-run buttons (Finish profile, Top matches, Browse jobs, My applications) plus tap-to-insert slash commands in the message text.
You do not need the website first to upload a CV. See Account Security for linking Telegram safely.
Tap commands & buttons
- Buttons — main menu, Quick tips, and
/commandsinclude inline actions (same as typing the slash command). - Slash commands — shown as
/jobs,/matches, etc. in bot messages; on Telegram Desktop/mobile you can tap them to insert into the composer. - Parameterized commands — e.g.
/withdraw <application-id>: copy the id from/my_applicationsor tap ↩️ Withdraw on a row.
Core commands

/profile_strength | Dossier completeness (100% required for Quick Apply). |
/finish_profile | Continue Telegram onboarding gaps (skills, experience, etc.). |
/notifications | Toggle daily match digest (new strong-fit roles in Telegram). |
/help | Role-specific help. On any list screen, tap 📖 Guide for context tips. |
/menu · /restart | Refresh menus if buttons stop responding. |
Match % vs profile strength
- Profile strength — how complete your dossier is (headline, skills, experience, etc.). Must be 100% to Quick Apply.
- Match % — how well your profile fits a specific job (same AI engine as the website). Must be ≥60% to Quick Apply or appear in
/matches.
Applying to jobs
From /jobs
Tap a role → read summary and match breakdown → ⚡ Quick Apply when gates pass, or Full Application in the portal for cover letter edits.
If you already applied, the list shows ✅ Applied and the detail screen shows Already Applied (no second Quick Apply).
From /matches
Only strong fits (≥60%) are listed. Use Apply to all for bulk Quick Apply (hourly rate limit applies). Applied roles drop off the list.
Application statuses

Messages from clients
When a client reviews you on Telegram and taps 💬 Message talent, or when they message you from the portal, you receive a Telegram DM in this bot chat. Reply with plain text here — the client sees it in their Telegram thread. This is not the portal mini app or Messages web UI (those are optional for history).
Send /cancel to end the conversation thread.
Daily match digest
Eligible talent with /notifications enabled receive a morning Telegram summary of new published roles that score ≥60% since the last digest. Turn it off anytime with /notifications.
Portal vs bot
- Bot — fast browse, match scores, Quick Apply, status, messages.
- Portal — full profile editor, contracts, payments, detailed application history. Open via menu Open Portal or ⚙️ More actions.
