How Payments Are Processed
WeRemoteIT uses Stripe as its payment processor. All payments are secured with TLS encryption and PCI-DSS compliance. Your card details are never stored on WeRemoteIT servers.
Subscription Billing
- Subscriptions renew automatically on the same date each month
- You will receive an email invoice 3 days before renewal
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period — no partial refunds
Pay-Per-Post
- Charged immediately upon posting a job
- One-time charge, no recurring billing unless you choose a plan
Managing Your Billing
Navigate to Billing from your dashboard header. From here you can:
- View all invoices and transaction history
- Download PDF receipts for accounting
- Update your payment method (redirects to the Stripe Customer Portal)
- Upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan
- Generate your USDC wallet for crypto payments
USDC Crypto Wallet
WeRemoteIT supports USDC (USD Coin) payments for international clients who prefer stablecoin settlement over traditional banking. To set up:
- Go to Billing → Create USDC Wallet
- A unique deposit address is generated via Circle
- Send any USDC amount to that address to load your wallet
- Use wallet balance to pay for posting fees or managed project milestones
Identity Verification (For Billing)
Enterprise billing and USDC payouts require a one-time identity verification. This uses Signicat (eIDAS-certified) to confirm your identity. Once verified, you will see a Verified badge on your account and unlock higher payment limits.
Funding talent (escrow)
Company invoices and job-post fees are separate from contract escrow. After talent accepts an offer:
- Open Contracts and fund the milestone (Stripe card and/or USDC on Polygon as shown on that screen).
- Money is held until the talent submits work and you approve (or the review window auto-progresses if you do not dispute — typically about seven days).
- On release, a 10% platform fee is taken from the gross milestone; talent receives 90% in their wallet.
- Track status on Escrows. Disputes pause payout until review.
